(take that 12 year old girls who think looking in the mirror while posing makes a great profile pic!)
I recently took a challenge to test my will power: Stay off of Facebook for a week. I somehow did it, the only thing that seemed to suck was the fact that I use Facebook for everything. It reminds me of people's birthdays, group events that I'll never show up to, applications that have no use unless it's the 'Bumper Sticker'.Facebook has taught me that it's okay to procrastinate as long as you're "Facebook Stalking" that really cute kid from class, or to make a contest between You and That Girl with 1089 pictures posted up on her page. Constant status changes keep me updated about what friend '...is sleeping' or which one '...is (insert song lyric here)".
I guess it was time for a newer more updated version of social networking to come about, but could I pretty pretty please be allowed to have a kick ass song playing while others look at my profile where my name is blinking in glitter?
Well I guess I could keep rambling about the awesomeness of Facebook, but why bother when I need to spend this time updating my status.
